We can perform many functions at customer locations onsite, on-shore or offshore.

Crane Maintenance and Inspection

Intrepid Offshore Construction (IOC) offshore crane mechanics are thoroughly trained and certified with hands on evaluations to inspect and maintain cranes. Our men use API RP 2D latest edition absolutes for inspections and maintenance. IOC can do quarterly, semi-annually and annual inspections plus pull tests. IOC offshore mechanics are experienced in general maintenance, exchanges of wire rope, pendant lines, balls and hooks, winches, sheaves, booms, winches, hydraulics and engines. IOC mechanics can also replace pedestals, ball rings, cabs, gantries to the entire crane. Whatever your needs you can depend on IOC to meet them with satisfaction guaranteed. We can refurbish a crane from the tip to the pedestal. You can be assured by using IOC highly qualified crane mechanics that you will be receiving service and reliability you can rely on; with fewer mechanical breakdowns or BSEE infractions. Overhead Hoist Mechanics

IOC overhead hoist technicians are trained and certified by hoist manufacturers. Our hoist technicians have all certifications necessary for both offshore and on land applications. Technicians are trained in inspection, service and repair of chain, lever, electric, pneumatic hoists and overhead bridge and gantry cranes. IOC technicians are in compliance with all hoist manufactures procedures and OSHA guidelines for safe repair and use of overhead hoists. Technicians are backed up by an in-house engineering department and structural engineering team. This enables Intrepid Offshore Construction to design and install overhead bridge and gantry cranes to customer specifications. We offer onsite welding and dye pin inspection too.

Hydraulic / Pneumatic Hose

We manufacture hydraulic and pneumatic hose and tube assemblies in sizes from 1/4 inch through 2-inch. Hoses are available in low, medium or high pressure segments, with the end connections and length to meet or exceed OEM and/or to customer specifications. Intrepid Offshore Construction not only builds hydraulic components, we also maintain and inspect hydraulic components.
